Why We Built This Site
Minnesota gives the public access to a great deal of court and county information. The hard part is knowing which office holds the piece you need. A warrant is not kept in one place. The District Court that issues the order sets the charge and any conditions, and the Sheriff's Office is the agency that serves the warrant and can speak to its own service records. Because Minnesota has a single unified trial court, a city citation that turns into a criminal or traffic case is heard by that same District Court rather than a city court.
The state case search is a useful starting point, but it is not a complete warrant index. Pending cases can be missing from a name search, some documents never post online, and a party-level warrant flag may not relate to the case on screen. It is easy to check one office, find nothing, and assume there is nothing to find. We pull the local contacts, the case-number routes, the record fields, and the records-request steps into one place so a reader can begin with the right office and the right identifier.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Minnesota court, sheriff's office, city office, or state agency. The practical limits are worth stating plainly:
- We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm whether a warrant exists for anyone
- We cannot recall, quash, serve, or clear a warrant on any system
- We cannot accept a payment toward a fine, a bond, or a court obligation
- We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a walk-in appearance
- We cannot give legal advice or say how a warrant applies to a specific case
- We cannot promise that a phone number, a rate, or a published page is current at the moment you read it
Only the District Court that issued the warrant or the Sheriff's Office that holds the service record can confirm whether a warrant exists or has been recalled. We can point you to the right office, but the answer has to come from that office.
Search Partners
Search boxes on this site are operated by outside companies. Those companies set their own prices, run their own systems, and control what their tools return. If a search leads to a paid signup, we may receive a referral fee, and that revenue helps keep this site free to read. Their results are not an official warrant check, and their data is not a court record.
